Will a terrace garden cause leaks in my building?
Only if the waterproofing is skipped or skimped — which is exactly what we don’t do. We check and, where needed, renew the waterproofing before anything goes on top, and we build in drainage so water has somewhere to go.
What can I actually grow on a terrace?
More than most people think — but the selection has to respect your exposure, wind and how much you’re willing to water. We pick plants that will thrive where you are, not plants that look good in a catalogue and die in a heatwave.
How much weight can my terrace take?
That depends on the building, which is why we check the structure before we design. Soil, water and planters are heavy, and the difference between a safe garden and a structural problem is often just a proper assessment at the start.
